If you have not seen any of the prequels to this movie I'll try to summarize quickly what this is about. This is a collage of multiple animations that I made with pivot. As you may or may not know, as an animator I tend to create some animations for no real purpose other than to quell the many ideas that pop into my head. While I will come out with a long and purposeful animation every now and then, the majority of the ones I make are 5-30 seconds. Many are too short to be released by itself as a movie on Youtube and some have no point at all. In other words it would be a pointless waste of time to make individual movies for these animations. This is why I had the INCREDIBLE IDEA of releasing them as one big collection of mismatched animations. It's been working out good so far! There's only one difficulty: "Extra". And I'll spoil it for you: I didn't make it! I only got 54.72% of the stage complete. This is my best run out of... 10 or so. The most annoying part are the enemies and the subboss. I wouldn't mind playing this a lot more if I'd just start right at the boss :( As for the stage goes... it's hard! Most bullets are lightning fast and there's a ton of them so if you move too much, you're dead. Some enemies leave bullets around, and you'll have to kill them fast or you're dead :/ You can get used to most of it though, so it's not THAT hard. Just very annoying. The sub-boss of this stage is Keine Kamishirasawa. Remember her from Stage 3? She was a human there, but she's actually a Were-hakutaku, and since you restored the moon she transformed. And She became A LOT more powerful -_- Spell Card 192: The hard part is dodging the blue bullets. The red can be avoided by slight movement. Spell Card 193: Backward bullets. Great. Find an opening and try to fly into it. You'll have to move around a bit because she's firing a ball at you from time to time to keep you moving. Oh, and my immortality ran out at the worst possible moment -_- Spell Card 194: Basically a harder version of 192. The blue bullets are more numerous, and the red ones start moving toward you sooner :/ Now let's fight off some other enemies and get to the final boss: Fujiwara no Mokou. This is probably my favorite Touhou character ^^ She's immortal, and apparently possessed by a phoenix. You kill her every time you defeat one of her spell cards... but then she resurrects! Over and over... Apparently she's also resistant to your spell cards and doesn't take any damage from them when she's also using a spell card :/ This is the longest boss battle yet. Very challenging too. Good thing the music is awesome ^^ Attacks: All attacks are very similar to each other. I won't go into detail. It's not what's hard about this fight :/ Spell Card 195: There's not much space between the greet bullets. The knives force you to be on the move. Quite hard, but it's nothing compared to what's in stall for you later. Spell Card 196: THEORETICLY you have to move through through the place the phoenix shaped bullets passed to have space to dodge. And do it quick, because some more bullets will show up moments later and probably block your only means of escape. You have to have a quick eye, and even quicker fingers :/ Spell Card 197: Harder then it looks. At least for me. You just have to move in between the seals. Spaces are quite bit, but it's easy to lose track and get hit. If you don't have problems moving through moving or crossing bullets then this shouldn't give you problems, but I'm not one of those people :/ Spell Card 198: Actually this is pretty easy... Move to the very bottom, and just avoid the red seals. They'll kill you when they start moving up. She's also firing some bullets, but they have big spaces to dodge. I died here because this was the first time I got this far -_- Spell Card 199: Aww man... The laser only hits you after a while, so if you move right and left you'll probably avoid it, but she's shooting A LOT of red bullets, and their fast. Changing you location while under a barrage of bullets like this is really hard, and I didn't make it -_- She was ALMOST dead too T.T Spell Card 200: Didn't make it :( Spell Card 201: Didn't make it :( Spell Card 202: Didn't make it :( Spell Card 203: Didn't make it :( Spell Card 204: Didn't make it :( Spell Card 205: Didn't make it :( I don't know if I'm going to make it to the end... I'll keep trying from time to time, but don't hold your breath awaiting a 100% run :(
