We're expecting Valve to update it's Steam service today, the update introducing new features that include Guest Passes, Background client updates and Games list Favorites. Auto Assault dev unveils 'destructive' FPS
   NetDevil's Warmonger, Operation: Downtown Destruction is "an apocalyptic, first-person shooter" with a unique "piece-by-piece destruction system".
Warmonger's destruction system comes courtesy of the shooter being built around the AGEIA PhysX processor, the dev explains, which in addition allows for "stunning fluid and cloth-based effects unlike anything seen before." And this is being combined with Epic's Unreal Engine 3.

Nintendo Wii has sold 989,118 consoles in Japan since it went on sale on December 2, compared to 466,716 PS3s sold since November 12, according to stats release by Tokyo Research and publisher Enterbrain.
