[ Singles & Dating ] Open Question : How do you get into the single/dating "game"??

I have been with someone now for @ 10 years. I have come to realize that I lost myself in this person and need to find ME again. How do you find people that are on your same level and want the same things (besides going on "soulmates.com")
Btw: Any pointers for a newbee?
