Audio review of the trailer for the new "Mummy" movie coming this August. I threw in a few pictures from the movie, too. All in all, I was mixed, but remain optimistic. The effects look alright; nothing new. Rachel Weisz is replaced. The only character who's seemed to have aged is Alex, and he looks older than his dad. It's from the director of "Stealth". But yet, it seems to be sticking true to form. Looks humorous and action-packed, just like the first two. Brendan Fraser and John Hannah are back. Jet Li's always cool to watch. I think it'll be fun and entertaining. I'm gonna keep an open mind on it.

Quante volte ci siamo chiesti se fosse più forte Van Damme o Rocky Balboa? E chi la spunterebbe tra Batman e l'Uomo Ragno? Sono innumerevoli i crossover (im)proponibili che gli adoratori del cinema di genere sognano segretamente, e l'horror non fa eccezione. Freddy vs. Jason si presenta come lo scontro definitivo tra i due numeri uno della carneficina su pellicola, la zuffa che sancirà una volta per tutte se fanno più male gli artigli del massacratore di Elm Street o il machete del folle ragazzone di Crystal Lake: ma come spesso accade per le presunte scazzottate del secolo -- vedi Tyson vs. Holyfield -- al momento della diretta si scopre che è tutto un bluff. Chi non ama l'horror di serie Z nemmeno si accorgerà dell'uscita di questo film, e chi lo ama probabilmente resterà deluso: Freddy vs. Jason è un film inutile e brutto, non regala mai un brivido che sia uno, e le trovate macabre originali -- che sono la linfa vitale dei film "de paura" -- si contano sulle lame del guanto di Kruger. In molti avevano puntato sulla regia del giovane Yu, importato da Hong Kong, che aveva rivisitato il celebre La bambola assassina arrivando al limite della parodia in stile Mel Brooks, ma purtroppo per loro, Freddy vs. Jason non fa neanche vagamente sorridere, oltre a non fare paura. La trama si basa su un paio di spunti interessanti ma talmente complicati che per spiegarli il film va ad impantanarsi in situazioni macchinose e logorroiche: Freddy è morto (questo si sapeva) e nessuno ad Elm Street si ricorda più di lui. Questo è un problema, perché Freddy prende la sua forza dalla paura che fa alla gente, e dunque non può tornare a movimentare gli incubi dei malcapitati discendenti dei suoi primi clienti se questi, inspiegabilmente, non si ricordano neanche della sua esistenza. Il piano è semplice: resuscitare un collega di tutto rispetto -- Jason Voorhes - e mandarlo a sfoltire drasticamente il numero dei vivi ad Elm Street, dopodiché gli idioti adolescenti del posto non esiteranno a confondere i due e ad attribuire i massacri a tale Freddy Kruger di cui tutti in paese sembrano sapere ma di cui nessuno vuol parlare. Si ricorderanno di lui e lo sogneranno, dandogli così potere sufficiente a tornare. Ma a questo punto Jason non sembra disposto a farsi da parte, e Jason non è un ragazzo molto ragionevole. Attrici poppute, sangue a secchiate e linguaggio da osteria non bastano a fare un film dell'orrore: l'unico elemento di nota in tutto il film è il solito, strepitoso, sottovalutatissimo Robert Englund, per il resto è la noia più totale. Bisognerà sperare in uno scontro tra outsider, magari Herbert West contro Faccia di Pelle, chissà che non facciano una figura migliore...
It's a Summer Movie Spectacular Edition of The Stack! The guys discuss some of the blockbuster movies being released by the big studios. Alex, Justin, and Pete are all mesmerized by Iron Man and Justin likens Speed Racer to Mario Kart. Then it's attack of The Incredible Hulk. Since last year's E3 trailer, new information on resident evil 5 has been difficult to come by. Capcom has provided us (GAMEINFORMER) with several teaser images from what looks to be a NEW TRAILER set to debut during the company's media summit at the end of MAY. Capcom dropped absoulutely no hints as to the identity of the previously unseen characters picture here here, so we did our own digging into Resident Evil canon and a recent behind-the-scenes production video to come up with some solid theories.
Shrek, an animated feature film, by DreamWorks Animation debuted in 2001, and is very loosely based upon William Steig's 1990 fairy tale picture book entitled Shrek! It was directed by New Zealander Andrew Adamson and Los Angeles artist Vicky Jenson and animated by DreamWorks Animation SKG. Shrek was the first film to win an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature, a category introduced in 2001. It was released on DVD and VHS on November 7, 2001.
The film features the voices of Mike Myers as a large, strong, solitude-loving, intimidating ogre named Shrek (from the German word "schreck" meaning "terror" or Yiddish word שרעק, meaning "fear"), Cameron Diaz as the beautiful but very down-to-earth and feisty Princess Fiona, Eddie Murphy as a talkative donkey named Donkey, and John Lithgow as the villainous Lord Farquaad.
It was critically acclaimed as an animated film worthy of adult interest, with many adult-oriented jokes and themes but a simple enough plot and humor to appeal to children. It made notable use of pop music—the soundtrack includes music by Smash Mouth, Joan Jett, The Proclaimers, Jason Wade, The Baha Men, and Rufus Wainwright.
The film was extremely successful on release in 2001 and it helped establish DreamWorks as a prime competitor to Walt Disney Pictures in the field of feature film animation, particularly in computer animation. Furthermore, Shrek was made the mascot for the company's animation productions.
This film is third on Bravo's "100 Funniest Movies". Shrek was also ranked second in a Channel 4 poll of the 100 greatest family films, losing out on the top spot to E.T.

Created: 5/14-15/08: After completing my X-MEN music videos, I fell into a funk and lack of inspiration; Anything I thought of for a music video slipped away from me and was forgotten instantly despite my best efforts to remember. I figured it was from a lack of sleep, so I stepped away from the Movie Maker and mulled over something else for the time being. This week past, I got the opportunity to purchase the 2006 and 2007 albums "ON" and "EXPOSED" from the band Boom Boom Satellites, best known for the two themes featured in the CGI filmed APPLESEED (2004); "Dive for You" and "Underdog".
I think they might've done a piece for the orchestral score along side Ryuichi Sakamoto. Both albums are exceptionally better than their "FULL OF ELEVATING PLEASURES", and have fully convinced me that their previous works might be just as exciting. Anyhow, I really didn't get the inspiration to create this video until I got the opportunity to see IRON MAN in theaters. The movie is absolutely amazing and near-flawless in its execution.
After watching it, I jumped on the computer the next day, chose a song from BBS and proceeded to chop up a bunch of trailers (38 to be exact) to create the full effect of what you see here. The execution of the video was relatively simple; The only snags I hit were the fact that my computer slowed up everytime I tried to play through the incomplete video (especially during a M:I 3 scene featuring Keri Russell and Tom Cruise), so I couldn't properly edit any jarring sequences out it. That and the computer froze up numerous times. Overall, I hope you enjoy this music video. I had fun making it and the end result is amazing. Laters!
This is a project we did for English. "Barn Burning" is a short story by Faulkner, about an arsonist (Abner Snopes) narrated by his son, Colonel Sartoris (Sarty) Snopes. The assignment was to make a trailer for the story, as if you were making a movie for it.

This video is titled "The end of Metal Gear" for a damn good reason, but it ISN'T because this is some sort of super secret leaked MGS4 spoiler of anything like that. But this IS comprised almost completely of the newest MGS4 footage released, so if you are one of those people avoiding the newest trailers until the games release, DO NOT WATCH THIS.
NOW, as for the title, let me explain. Recently the MGS4 ost track list names was released. The ending theme of MGS4 will be called "Here's to you", and it will be sung by Lisabeth Scott, the woman singing the song used for this vgmv. Also- this song was composed by Harry-Gregson-Williams, for the "Chronicles of Narnia" soundtrack. As most of you know, HGW is also doing part of the soundtrack to MGS4.
Why is this important? Well, think of it this way- this is the closest thing you will get to hearing the ending theme of Metal Gear Solid 4 until the release of the game/ost. Interesting, yes?

2nd in my series of self-made trailers/openings. The first was Transformers, now its Speed Racer. I synced footage from Speed Racer movie to the OP music of "New Adventures of Speed Racer". Why "New Adventures" and not the original?? IMO, i loved the original but the music was too campy to fit with the more action oriented theme of the footage.

Nonostante sia ispirato ad una storia vera (sembra incredibile, eppure è così, e il romanzo "Bringing Down the House" è lì a ricordarcelo), 21 strizza l'occhio in maniera più o meno smaccata alla trilogia di Ocean's, con al posto delle rinomate star guidate da Clooney, un gruppetto di giovani promesse con pochi soldi (nel film, ovviamente) e molto cervello. Il vero spettacolo però, prevedibilmente, si ha quando nell'arena scendono i sempre amabili Kevin Spacey (che si diverte come un matto) e Lawrence Fishburne che danno lezioni di stile e dimostrazione di consumato talento. Purtroppo, anche a causa di uno script abbastanza prevedibile, la regia di Luketic, più a suo agio nelle commedie che in film di questo tipo, non riesce a mantenere alto il ritmo del film, né a distinguerlo da classici del genere "truffe in grande stile" come La stangata e simili. Se a questo aggiungiamo una durata francamente eccessiva, almeno in relazione alla quantità di eventi e colpi scena presenti nella storia, quel che ne esce è un film leggero, senza pretese, che offre un piacevole intrattenimento, ma nulla di più.

Atari revient nous flanquer les chocottes, ou pas, avec un nouveau trailer pour Alone in the Dark : Near Death Investigation. Référence ultime de son époque, puisque premier survival horror de l'histoire du jeu vidéo, Alone in the Dark a sombré dans ses propres ténèbres avec des séries comme Resident Evil ou Silent Hill, ne récoltant que des miettes à picorer. Mais ce nouvel opus semble plus qu'intéressant, entre les différents effets bien surprenant, comme celui du feu que vous pouvez retrouver en zappant dans la PFTV, ou encore la conduite de véhicules encore jamais vu dans un titre du genre, et surtout un terrain de jeu unique : Central Park. Jon Favreu, subito dopo i titoli di testa, gira la scena originaria, quella che origina il film e dà origine all'eroe. Come tutti i suoi compagni di supervite e superavventure, Tony Stark ha subito un incidente e una perdita traumatica (quella del cuore). Di questa scena primaria la caverna dei ribelli è lo scenario, il luogo in cui avviene l'esperienza dello smarrimento, il processo di apprendimento dell'uomo e la conversione nell'eroe. Dopo essere stato un disegno animato in A Scanner Darkly, Robert Downey Jr. torna a recitare con sfondi agitati, indossando un'armatura, sviluppando una doppia identità e combattendo il supervillain di Jeff Bridges. Soltanto la sua performance glamour (e "in carne e ossa") poteva trovare l'equivalente plastico-dinamico del personaggio disegnato su carta, restituendone l'aura ed eliminando la seccatura del ridicolo, che si ripresenta a ogni traduzione del fumetto al cinema.
